I started working on this EP 3 years ago without really knowing it. I felt creatively limited in the last project I had so I wanted to challenge myself. I began singing more on tracks I made, playing more live instruments, figuring out what I wanted to say and really push myself creatively into places I had never been before. With this EP I also made a promise to myself to be less of a perfectionist and learn to let go. The whole meaning behind this EP for me is this: we always push ourself further hoping to finally reach a destination…a final form of sort but we never really do. Somehow in the process we still create ourselves more and more. We developed a universe in our mind and we bring it to the outside world. For me that’s what making music is all about, digging into your mind and sharing it with the world. Eyes On You was the last track I sang on and I wrote it with my homies from Chiiild, It was created at the very last minute and I think It helped completed the EP as a whole.
